Set off by a pressure fitted caseback with a sapphire crystal, the automatic Swiss movement, with which Exagone watches are fitted, invites admiration. These bold timepieces have been conceived to accompany city dwellers in their daily adventures. They also have a 38 hour power reserve and are watertight down to a depth of 5 ATM. On certain models a date window at 3 o'clock echoes the Pequignet watch making tradition.
Exagone, a noble tribute
The Exagone collection primarily includes watches whose case is adorned with a hexagonal bezel with softened angles, a clear reference to the geographical contours of mainland France. The dial also affirms its character by displaying in its centre the guilloche typical of watchmaking know-how with a flamboyant red or an unprecedented off-white. A skeleton version, whose dial is open in the centre, dares to reveal the movement and flaunts a very bold French style. The Exagon has personality. Its rounded hands and minimalist indicator display the time and are blue on models with a light dial, reminiscent of France’s national colours. The reference is pushed to its climax when crown also adopts the contours of the Hexagon. Available in savannah calfskin with blue saddle-stitching, black with red saddle-stitching or blue with white saddle-stitching, Exagone watch straps are the perfect final touch.
