Concorde Damas watch by Pequignet x Matthias Marc - Limited edition

Pequignet unveils a new variation of the 36mm Concorde, co-created with Michelin-starred chef Matthias Marc, ambassador of the Manufacture. This talented young chef reinterprets this iconic model in his own way, transforming it into a symbol of refined gesture and precision. Matthias Marc has left his visible signature on the back of the watch, accompanied by the words: “Balance is built, harmony is lived.” This phrase was personally chosen by Chef Matthias Marc. Limited to 50 pieces, this edition features a dial crafted from genuine Damas steel. This co-creation goes far beyond a simple Concorde model, as it is presented in a leather case by Maison Boinet, designed in the spirit of traditional chef’s knife cases. Inside, you will find an interchangeable black rubber strap and a pocket knife whose blade is also adorned with Damascus steel, consistency down to the finest detail.

Renowned for its strength, Damas steel is distinguished by its appearance and moiré patterns. Working and polishing Damascus steel is an extremely delicate process that requires exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous precision.

 The Concorde is equipped with the Calibre Initial®, the third movement designed by the Manufacture. It meets the Maison's durability requirements: all its components are sourced within 80 km of the Manufacture; 72% are French. This French movement, oscillating at 4Hz, manufactured in Morteau, is clearly visible through the case back. Its bidirectional winding system provides a beautiful and comfortable power reserve of 65 hours. 

For your peace of mind, Pequignet watches are guaranteed for 3 or 5 years from the date of purchase: 5 years for models equipped with a Pequignet movement (Royale collection, Attitude, Extrême 300, Concorde) and 3 years for other automatic, manual or quartz models.

If you encounter a problem with your watch during the warranty period, you may count on our customer service and on our expert watchmakers to resolve the problem at no cost to you. This warranty applies to all the watches and covers all manufacturing defects in normal conditions of use. This warranty is effective only if the watch returned is accompanied by the warranty certificate, duly dated, signed and bearing the stamp of the retailer authorised to represent Pequignet. Each watch arriving at the Manufacture shall be the subject of an examination undertaken by our master watchmaker, in order to certify its condition.
